Grammy Award winning singer R Kelly will be performing two gigs in South Africa this week.
The R&B megastar, known for hits such as 'I Believe I Can Fly' and
'If I Could Turn Back the Hands of Time' will be kicking off his Single
Ladies Tour in South Africa.
His first performance will be on the 8 August 2013 at Orlando Stadium
in Johannesburg with second performance at Moses Mabhida Stadium in
Durban on the 10 August.
He has worked with the likes of Aaliyah, Whitney Houston and Michael
Jackson and was nominated for a Grammy for writing Jackson's 'You Are
Not Alone'. Across his repertoire of 13 studio albums, Kelly has sold
over 38.5 million units in America and over 50 million worldwide.
A host of well-known and respected supporting acts for the South
African leg of R&B legend R Kelly's 'Single Ladies Tour' have been
announced.
Top South African talent will opening for Kelly during what is sure to
be two of the most anticipated stadium gigs to hit South African shores.
Supporting acts for R. Kelly's Johannesburg performance: Lira, Mi Casa,
Khuli Chana, DJ Euphonik and DJ Cndo.
While Lira, Mi Casa, Khuli Chana, DJ Lulo Cafe and DJ Cndo will open
for Kelly at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban. Park and ride
facilities have been arranged for R Kelly fans attending the 'Single
Ladies Tour' at the Orlando Stadium in Johannesburg
